Research progress on the relationship between the foot and adolescent idiopathic scoliosis
摘要
Abstract
Adolescent idiopathic scoliosis(AIS)is a common pediatric orthopedic condition that poses serious health risks.The foot,as the foundational support for body weight,interacts with the spine through bio-mechanical connections,influencing the onset and progression of AIS.Currently,experts both domestically and internationally focus on the relationships between the foot and AIS,investigating changes in foot structure in AIS patients and the impact of these changes on the spine.The researches aim to provide new insights for AIS pre-vention,early diagnosis,treatment,and outcome evaluation.This review discusses the relationships between foot morphology,plantar pressure,spatio-temporal foot parameters,and AIS,as well as the effects of foot intervention on AIS.关键词
