The Impact of Forestry Industry Upgrading on the Value Realization Efficiency of Forest Ecological Products

Abstract
⑴Background——Establishing the mechanism of realizing the value of ecological products is an important task for the construction of Chinese-style modernization with harmonious coexistence between man and nature.At present,the value realization efficiency of forest ecological products in China is still low.Forestry industry upgra-ding is the key path to improve the value realization efficiency of forest ecological products,and rural digitali-zation and environmental regulations can play an important role in the impact of forestry industry upgrading on the value realization efficiency of forest ecological products. ⑵ Methods——On the basis of theoretical analysis,this paper first put forward the research hypotheses.Then,based on the panel data of 26 counties(cities,districts)in the mountainous areas of Zhejiang Province from 2001 to 2021,an evaluation system for the forestry industry upgrading and the value realization efficiency of forest ecological products was constructed.The two-way fixed effects model,moderating effects model,threshold effects model and spatial econometric model were used to empirically analyze the impact of the forestry industry upgrading on the value realization efficiency of forest ecological products and its mechanism. ⑶ Results——First,the forestry industry upgrading can significantly improve the value realization efficien-cy of forest ecological products.For every unit in the upgrading of the forestry industrial structure,the value real-ization efficiency of forest ecological products increases by 0.504 units,and for every 1%increase in the forestry industry development scale,the value realization efficiency of forest ecological products increases by 0.003units.Second,the level of rural digitization plays a positive moderating role in the impact of the forestry industry struc-ture upgrading and forestry industry development scale on the value realization efficiency of forest ecological prod-ucts,and there is a threshold effect,while the intensity of environmental regulations only plays a positive moder-ating role in the impact of the forestry industry development scale on the value realization efficiency of forest eco-logical products.Third,the forest industry upgrading has a negative impact on the value realization efficiency of forest ecological products in the neighboring areas through the spatial spillover effect. ⑷ Conclusions and Discussions——First,optimize the forestry industry structure and expand the forest-ry industry scale.Plan the forestry industry layout scientifically,strengthen the innovation of forestry science and technology and talents training.Second,increase the intensity of environmental regulations and formulate strict and scientific environmental protection standards.Strengthen environmental supervision and law enforcement,and improve the environmental supervision system of forestry industry.Third,continue to promote the digitalization construction in rural areas,strengthen the construction of information infrastructure and digital skills training for farmers and forestry practitioners.Fourth,establish and improve the cross-regional cooperation mechanism for the forestry industry,build an information exchange platform for the forestry industry,promote the in-depth integra-tion and development of the regional forestry primary,secondary and tertiary industries.关键词
