Abstract

Based on theoretical analysis and simulation calculations,suggestions for optimizing the design parameters of hydrogen-blended household gas stove burners are proposed.Two sets of burners were designed and manufactured using methane blended with 20%hydrogen as the reference gas,and compara-tive combustion experiments were conducted.The change law of the performance of well-adapted burners with hydrogen blending ratio was studied.For house-hold gas stove burners,under rated conditions,when the hydrogen blending ratio meets the requirements of stable combustion,the decrease in heat load caused will not exceed 6.1%.An atmospheric burner was de-signed using natural gas with a hydrogen blending ratio of 20%as the reference gas,with a primary air coeffi-cient of 0.58,a rated heat load of 4.8 kW,and a rated pressure of 2 kPa.Under the gas pressure of 1.5 to 3.0 kPa in front of the stove,a burner with a fire hole diameter of 2 mm and a fire hole spacing of 7 mm can meet the requirements of stable combustion and yellow flames avoidance for hydrogen-blended natural gas with a hydrogen blending ratio of 0 to 30%.Under the gas pressure of 2 kPa in front of the stove,the thermal effi-ciency of a burner with a fire hole diameter of 2 mm and a fire hole spacing of 7 mm gradually increases with the increase of hydrogen blending ratio.The vol-ume fraction of CO in dry flue gas reaches its peak at a hydrogen blending ratio of 10%,and then gradually de-creases.When the hydrogen blending ratio is 10%,the volume fraction of NOx in dry flue gas increases signifii-cantly,and then the upward trend becomes slower.
