摘要

Abstract

The influence of ground current of building moisture-proof equipment on corrosion of bur-ied steel gas pipelines was studied by measuring the pipe-to-soil potential of buried steel gas pipelines,the ground potential of building metals and the soil surface potential gradient in nearby areas.The main source of stray current in soil is the grounding current of building moisture-proof equipment.The operation of building moisture-proof equipment generates a pulse current with an interference frequency of 1 Hz in the surround-ing soil of the building.The farther away from the cathode rod of the building moisture-proof equipment,the smaller the interference current in the soil.When one building moisture-proof equipment is turned on,the soil surface potential gradient drops to an acceptable range when the distance from the cathode rod of the building moisture-proof equipment is more than 30 me-ters.The change in the number of building moisture-proof equipment turned on can cause a change in the direction of current flow in the soil,thereby affecting the corrosion of building metals and buried steel gas pipelines.After the building moisture-proof equipment is turned on,the pipe-to-soil potential and the ground potential of building metals increase with the increase in the number of building moisture-proof equipment turned on,which increases the probability of corrosion occurring.
