Abstract
The shield tunneling method has been widely used due to its obvious advantages,mainly manifested in safe excavation and lining.Excavation and lining operations are carried out under the cover of shield tunneling,ensuring sufficient construction safety.Underground construction does not affect surface transportation,and underwater construction does not affect river navigation.It is suitable for construction at large depths and with high groundwater pressure,and relatively low construction costs.Its construction operation is not affected by climatic conditions,and the environmental hazards such as vibration and noise generated are relatively small,with minimal impact on ground buildings and underground pipelines.Shield tunneling construction has a high degree of mechanization,fast progress,and can significantly shorten the construction period.关键词
