Abstract

A cold storage box of cold storage air conditioning system based on plate phase change cold storage unit is designed.Based on the enthalpy method,a computational heat transfer model of the plate phase change cold storage unit is established.The cold storage and discharge performance of the cold storage unit is numerically studied,and the influence of the length of the cold storage unit and the change of water flow rate is analyzed.It is found that the solidification time and average cooling storage rate,melting time and average cooling release rate of the storage unit increase linearly with the increase of its length.With the increase of the flow rate,the solidification and melting time of the cold storage unit decreases,and the corresponding average cold storage and cooling rate increases.However,when the flow rate is greater than or equal to 0.4 m/s,due to the dominant thermal resistance of the phase change material,the flow rate has little effect on the cold storage and discharge performance of the cold storage unit.The research results can provide guidance for the design and optimization of phase change cold storage air conditioning system and phase change cold storage box in subway station.
