摘要

Abstract

Objective To develop an individualized liver tumor deformation model and to assess the effectiveness of the deformation simulation when interacting with the device,thereby evaluating its feasibility for liver tumor resection.Methods Preoperative enhanced CT data from 6 children with liver tumors scheduled for surgical resection were selected.An individualized 3D surface model of the liver tumors was generated using the Hisense computer-assisted surgery system.The morphable model construction method previously proposed by our team was employed to convert the surface model data of the individualized 3D model into an individualized volume model,utilizing the C++programming language.The corotational linear finite element algorithm was employed to analyze the volume model data,while the biomechanical properties of the liver soft tissue were utilized to develop an individualized model for liver tumor deformation.Subsequent liver deformation experiments were conducted in a laboratory simulation environment to validate the accuracy and reliability of the model.Thirteen pediatric surgeons were invited to test and to evaluate the model,and their subjective feedbacks were collected and counted.Results Three-dimensional surface models of this 6 children's liver tumors were successfully constructed,resulting in individualized volume models characterized by high voxel density and resolution.The biomechanical properties of the liver's soft tissue were applied,leading to the successful creation of individualized deformation simulation models for the liver tumors.The simulation model allowed for interaction with the virtual surgical instrument,achieving an average frame rate of approximately 150 Hz during the processes of pressing and pulling the liver deformation.This performance met the update frequency requirements necessary for visual continuity.The average score on the scale satisfaltion was 4.33,indicating that most participants expressed satisfaction with the color,contrast,auxiliary effect,and practicality of the morphable model.Furthermore,they acknowledged its authenticity and value.Conclusion The deformable model created demonstrates the ability to meet the authenticity and stability requirements for virtual surgery on liver tumors.This model can be utilized in the advancement of personalized virtual laparoscopic surgery simulation systems,providing accurate guidance for laparoscopic liver tumor surgeries in the future.
