摘要

Abstract

The filter is a crucial part of drinking water treatment process,but during the summer,with high nutrient levels and large water volumes,the flap filter can get clogged and the water can become cloudy.The solutions and experiences were summarized,combined with the problems of yellow-brown floating foam on the surface of the filter tank and mud ball sloughing on the surface layer of the filter media,which appeared during the operation of a flap filter tank in a water supply plant in Yinchuan.The results showed that the use of sodium hypochlorite solution soaking filter could prevent algae from forming flocs blocking the filter media,and at the same time could dissolve the coagulant aid PAM,improving the cleaning effect of the impurities attached to the filter media to reduce the formation of mud particles.Shortening the filtration cycle could reduce the impurity residence time,effectively alleviating the impurity deposition of the filter pond under the large amount of water.Prolonging the time of the air flushing stage and increasing the intensity of the water flushing could enhance the friction desorption of the inter-filter media.Prolonging the time of the air flushing stage and increasing the intensity of water flushing could enhance the friction desorption between the filter media,break the large particles of impurities,clean the slate filter media,and improve the effluent quality.
