Abstract
This paper aims to address the low reservoir prediction accuracy due to the inability of a-coustic logging curve to distinguish reservoir from surrounding rock effectively.The study is enabled by reconstructing the acoustic curve with a curve weighting method considering the rock volumetric physical model;and predicting the reservoir by using the reconstructed dominant curve;by taking Yanan Forma-tion sandbody prediction in HQ area as an example,selecting the porosity curve with better the reservoir characteristics as the characteristic curve,obtaining the acoustic time difference of pore fluid by curve weighting method;determing the acoustic time difference of rock skeleton;and predicting the distribution law of sandbody by geostatistics inversion.The results show that the reconstructed seismic impedance in-version results can depict the thin sandstone reservoirs with about 3 m′ thickness,more consistent with the actual drilling data from the wells,which reduces the ambiguity of the inversion results and makes the distribution pattern of the sandbodies clearer.This reconstruction method can keep the high and low fre-quency information of the original acoustic curve,and integrate the high frequency information of other characteristic curves to improve the ability of distinguishing reservoirs,which provides important reference for similar reservoir prediction.关键词
