Abstract

Under the background of global energy transition,floating wind power has shown great development potential due to its unique advantage of developing wind energy resources in deep and distant waters.This paper systematically reviews the current status and latest progress of floating wind power development at home and abroad,and analyses the main technical challenges facing the large-scale development of floating wind power,including key technical issues such as the optimal design of floating wind turbines,the research and development of innovative floating platforms,the optimization of the dynamic response of the mooring system,the construction of a highly reliable power transmission system,and the formulation of an adaptive operation and maintenance strategy.At the same time,potential non-technical challenges are also outlined,such as the improvement of policies and regulations,the assessment of environmental impacts,the construction of the supply chain,and the cultivation of professional talents.Based on the above analysis,targeted recommendations are put forward for the development of China's floating wind power industry,involving the key direction of scientific and technological innovation,the construction of the standard system,the international cooperation mechanism and other aspects.These recommendations aim to promote the healthy and sustainable development of China's floating wind power industry,and make substantial contributions to the achievement of global carbon neutrality.
