Abstract
Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of auricular point pressing beans on patients with posterior semicircular canal benign paroxysmal positional vertigo(BPPV).Methods The clinical data of 66 patients with posterior semicircular canal BPPV treated at our hospital from May 2020 to December 2022 were collected.The patients were divided into control group(n=33)and study group(n=33)based on the intervention methods.The control group received the Epley maneuver and Sensilin,while the study group received additional auricular point pressing beans intervention.The Dizziness Handicap Inventory(DHI),Berg Balance Scale(BBS),and Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale(HADS)scores were recorded before treatment,1 week after treatment,and 4 weeks after treatment.The clinical efficacy of auricular point pressing beans was statistically analyzed.Results There were no significant differences between the two groups in terms of gender,age,DHI score,HADS score,and BBS score before treatment(all P＞0.05).One week and 4 weeks after treatment,the study group had significantly lower DHI and HADS scores and a significantly higher BBS score compared to the control group(all P＜0.05).Conclusion Auricular point pressing beans can reduce the severity of symptoms and improve overall clinical efficacy in patients with posterior semicircular canal BPPV.关键词
