Abstract

A large amount of hydrogen-containing exhaust gas is produced from the hydrogen reduction process,posing great safety hazards.The catalytic oxidation method is used as the process route,and the hydrogen and oxygen compound reaction is completed under lower temperature conditions to eliminate hydrogen.A dehydrogen device was developed for hydrogen-containing exhaust gas,and the heating body,filling bed and catalytic bed were designed.Three hydrogen concentration monitoring points were provided in the system to monitor hydrogen concentration in the whole treatment process.The hydrogen and nitrogen mixtures,respectively containing 10 vol%,30 vol%,50 vol%,80 vol%hydrogen,were used to test the hydrogen removal effect of the dehydrogenation device.The results showed that the concentration of hydrogen in the treated exhausted gas was reduced to 0.05 vol%to 0.13 vol%,meeting relevant technical indicators,effectively removing hydrogen from the hydrogen-containing tail gas,and improving the safety of the process.
