Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the color application and proportion of Yangjiabu wood engraving pictures,and to design creative products based on this analysis.Meanwhile,the analysis results are used as the verification criteria to check the consistency of the creative products in terms of color.Through desktop research,sample collection and other methods,we learned the basic techniques and analyzed the samples of Yangjiabu wood engraving pictures.Combining the existing color analysis methods,we chose the K-means clustering analysis that is suitable for the color proportion analysis of wood engraving pictures.We used a colorimeter to make color cards that are accurate and have color proportions.We performed K-means clustering analysis and color extraction on the colors of Yangjiabu wood engraving pictures,and analyzed the proportion rules of their color matching.We obtained a color card with their color characteristics,which was used to guide the design practice and to verify the design results with this color card.Using the color card made from color analysis data to guide the design practice is feasible.The color card can be used to verify the consistency of the design works with the original works in terms of color.It provides a case,a new idea and a method reference for the design practice and acceptance of the creative products of Yangjiabu wood engraving pictures.
