摘要

Abstract

To obtain a more economical section type of solid concrete gravity dam,a design optimization method for solid gravity dam is proposed based on topology and topography optimization.The proposed method takes the flexibility minimization of the gravity dam section as optimization objective,and the gravity dam is firstly designed based on topology optimization and then is designed based on topography optimization.The section area of gravity can be reduced effectively by the method.The section optimization results of a solid concrete gravity dam show that,(a)the optimized section is close to the section designed by the traditional method,but the section area is reduced,and the safety factor of anti-sliding stability and stress meet the requirements of relevant specifications,which shows the rationality of design optimization;(b)the section after topography optimization is superior to the section after topology optimization and the section designed by traditional method;(c)with the increase of iteration times of topography optimization,the safety factor of anti-sliding stability gradually increases,and the maximum values of vertical stress and vertical displacement of dam body gradually decrease;and(d)there is a necking phenomenon near the crest of the dam in the section optimized by topography,which will provide a new direction for solid gravity dam design.
