Impact of Digital New-quality Productivity on Carbon Emission Efficiency

文章基于数字新质生产力影响碳排放效率的机理分析,采用我国29个省份2012-2021年的面板数据,分别运用面板Tobit模型、非线性回归模型和系统GMM模型对数字新质生产力对碳排放效率的影响进行实证分析.研究发现,数字新质生产力对碳排放效率存在非线性影响,即随着数字新质生产力的发展,碳排放效率呈现先下降后上升的"U"型特征;碳排放效率存在显著的路径依赖效应,即当期碳排放效率与前期碳排放效率存在显著的正相关关系;数字新质生产力对碳排放效率的影响在南方地区更强.

Based on the analysis of the influence mechanism of digital new-quality productivity on the carbon emission effi-ciency,this paper selects the panel data of 29 provinces in China from 2012 to 2021,and uses panel Tobit model,nonlinear re-gression model and system GMM model to empirically analyze the influence of digital new-quality productivity on carbon emission efficiency.The findings go as the following:There is a nonlinear effect of the digital new quality productivity on the carbon emis-sion efficiency,that is,with the development of digital new-quality productivity,the carbon emission efficiency shows a U-shaped characteristic of first decreasing and then increasing.There is a significant path-dependent effect on carbon emission efficiency,that is,there is a significant positive correlation between the current carbon emission efficiency and the previous carbon emission efficiency.The impact of digital new-quality productivity on carbon emission efficiency is stronger in the southern region.
