Data Factor Penetration and Global Value Chain Reconstruction of Manufacturing
摘要
Abstract
This paper uses the hypothesis extraction method to construct the data factor penetration index,then empirically analyzes the impact of data factor penetration on the global value chain(GVC)reconstruction of manufacturing industry from the network division perspective,and finally examines the threshold effect of digital regulatory openness.The results indicate that data factor penetration can significantly reduce the"opportunity"and"status"gap between late-developing economies and core hub countries,and promote the balanced reconstruction of the GVC.Heterogeneity analysis results show that in the middle-income economies and labor-intensive manufacturing industries,the reconstruction effect of data factors is more significant.Mechanism analysis results show that resource reallocation,technology innovation and regulatory reform are the main channels.Further re-search reveals that with the increase of digital regulatory openness,the reconstruction effect of data elements presents a nonlinear feature of decreasing marginal effect.关键词
