Application Effect of Focus Management Cycle Mode in Cleaning and Disinfection of Digestive Endoscopy and its Effect on Infection Prevention and Control

Abstract
Objective To explore the application effect of focus management cycle[including problem finding(F),organization(O),clarification(C),understanding(U),selection(S),plan(P),implementation(D),examination(C),implementation(A),FOCUS-PDCA]mode in cleaning and disinfection of digestive endoscopy and its effect on infection prevention and control.Methods From January to December 2023,90 sets of instruments and 40 cleaning and disinfection personnel in the Digestive Endoscopy Center of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University were selected as the research objects.According to the random number table method,they were divided into control group and study group,with 45 sets of instruments and 20 cleaning and disinfection personnel in each group.The control group received routine cleaning and disinfection of digestive endoscopy,and the study group received FOCUS-PDCA mode management.The qualified rate of manual cleaning,the qualified rate of pretreatment execution,the plugging rate of water and gas pipeline of digestive endoscopy,the mastery degree of relevant knowledge of cleaning and disinfection personnel(practical operation,theoretical knowledge),the incidence of hospital infection events(respiratory tract infection,skin infection,digestive tract infection)and the satisfaction of cleaning and disinfection personnel were compared between the two groups.Results The qualified rate of manual cleaning and pretreatment execution of digestive endoscopy in the study group were higher than those in the control group,and the plugging rate of water and gas pipeline of digestive endoscopy was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The score of endoscopic knowledge of cleaning and disinfection personnel in the study group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of nosocomial infection in the study group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The satisfaction of the study group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of FOCUS-PDCA mode in the cleaning and disinfection of digestive endoscopy is effective,which can improve the quality of cleaning and disinfection of digestive endoscopy,the mastery of relevant knowledge and satisfaction of cleaning and disinfection personnel,and reduce the incidence of hospital infection events.It is worthy of clinical application.关键词
