The Academic Characteristics and Application of Liu's Pediatric massage School in Xiangxi

Abstract
Hunan Xiangxi Liu's Pediatric massage is one of the main schools of pediatric massage in China,it originated in the reign of Xianfeng Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty and has been passed down for six generations.It is currently a provincial-level intangible cultural heritage,and has been designated as the National School Inheritance Studio by the State Administration of Traditional Chi-nese Medicine.The academic characteristics of Xiangxi Liu's pediatric massage mainly include:with the theory of the five elements as the theoretical guidance,the first"promotion of the five classics"therapy;on the basis of the"eight methods of massage",the inte-gration of Miao medicine and traditional Chinese medicine technology,created the"Liu's ten methods of pediatric massage"and a variety of duplex techniques;pay attention to the orderly opening and closing,Yin and Yang coordination;the original branch merid-ian diagnosis method,respectively for single meridian pulse diagnosis,unilateral complex disease pulse diagnosis,bilateral complex disease pulse diagnosis.At present,Xiangxi Liu's pediatric massage in children's respiratory,digestive,neurological diseases are widely used clinically,and the treatment effect is good.关键词
