Abstract

The mixed flotation of copper and molybdenum in a 60000 t/d copper molybdenum ore dressing plant in Xizang has many difficulties,such as high operating altitude,unstable ore processing properties,large oxidation rate of the mine and easy sliming.Moreover,due to the large circulating volume of middlings in the flotation operation,it has brought great difficulties to the stability of production and the improvement of mineral processing indicators.Research on the production of raw ore indicates that this ore belongs to the category of refractory sulfur oxygen mixed ore.Based on the study of ore properties,this article carried out multi scheme flotation process condition optimization,and conducted closed circuit experiments on key factors such as process structure,collector type,and sulfide activation selection.Finally,the process structure of"one coarse selection+two sweeping selections+two fine selections-fine sweeping"tail ore open circuit,butyl xanthate+BK404 combined collector,and adding an appropriate amount of sodium sulfide as copper sulfide activator were determined as the optimal process scheme.At this point,the closed-circuit test can obtain a copper molybdenum mixed concentrate containing 22.24%copper,0.740%molybdenum,with a copper recovery rate of 85.45%and a molybdenum recovery rate of 72.71%,providing a reliable basis for the next production technological transformation.
