Abstract
Objective To understand the literacy level of chronic disease prevention and control among residents in Wuxi in 2023 and analyze its influencing factors,so as to provide the theoretical basis for formulating strategies and intervention measures for chronic disease prevention and control.Methods A questionnaire survey was conducted among 6 278 non-collective residents aged 15-69 in Wuxi by multistage stratified random sampling.Results The literacy level of chronic disease prevention and treatment of Wuxi residents was 46.34%.There was a significant difference in the literacy level of chronic disease prevention and treatment among residents with different areas,age,education level,occupation,marital status,smoking status,annual family income,chronic diseases and self-health evaluation(P<0.05).The highest awareness rate of chronic disease prevention and treatment literacy evaluation topic was"children and adolescents may also have depression"(92.27%);the topic with the lowest awareness rate was"the benefits of eating bean products such as tofu and soybean milk"(54.06%).Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that urban and rural areas,age,education level and self-health evaluation were the influencing factors of Wuxi residents'literacy of chronic disease prevention and treatment.Conclusion The literacy level of chronic disease prevention and treatment of Wuxi residents needs to be further improved.The literacy level of chronic disease prevention and treatment of key populations should be paid attention to and targeted health education should be carried out.关键词
