泰州市某镇中老年居民骨质疏松知识及影响因素调查
Investigation on Osteoporosis Knowledge and Its Influencing Factors of Middle-Aged and Elderly Residents in a Town of Taizhou

Abstract
Objective To understand the knowledge about osteoporosis among middle-aged and elderly residents in Yexu Town,Taizhou Medical High-tech Zone,and analyze the influencing factors.Methods A questionnaire survey was conducted among 1 042 middle-aged and elderly residents in Yexu Town of Taizhou Medical High-tech Zone.Results There were 238 people(22.84%)who had some knowledge about osteoporosis,and the awareness rate of osteoporosis among residents was different in gender,age,marital status,education level,whether they had a history of hypertension and whether they knew relevant knowledge(P<0.05).Age,marital status and education level were the influencing factors of the subjects'cognition of osteoporosis(P<0.05).Conclusion The knowledge level of osteoporosis among middle-aged and elderly residents in Yexu Town of Taizhou Medical High-tech Zone was low,and the elderly,unmarried/divorced/widowed and low-level groups were the key groups of health education,so targeted health education should be carried out for specific groups.关键词
