Abstract
The literati character strength is an important spiritual wealth in traditional Chinese culture,and the core characteristics,such as love for the country,indifference to fame and fortune,and contempt for the powerful,form a unique spiritual identity that influences people's ways of thinking and behavior subtly.Adapting to this vinculum in specific urban buildings is conducive to integrating architecture as a cultural carrier with the common values that people use without realizing it.In this paper,taking the designs of Shaoxing Yangming Memorial Hall and Xu Wei Art Museum as examples,the positive role to urban context inheritance and vitality stimulation of the neighborhood by deriving the appearance,temperament,and style of literati architecture from literati character strength is discussed.关键词
