Abstract
As an important carrier of urban historical and cultural heritage,traditional commercial blocks should pay attention to the effective protection and utilization of their cultural genes during renovation and renewal.The paper explores the cultural heritage value of Dongdajie in Luoyang's Old City from two aspects:explicit cultural genes and implicit cultural genes.After identifying the cultural genes of Dongdajie,a series of protective utilization measures were proposed to address the existing problems in its cultural genes,such as spatial texture destruction,chaotic street style,insufficient historical and cultural excavation,lack of commercial vitality,and poor living environment.Intended to balance historical heritage and modern development needs,and promote sustainable development of the blocks.关键词
