摘要

Abstract

Lithium-sulfur batteries(LSBs)are among the most promising next-generation power sources for portable electronics and electric vehicles due to their ultra-high energy density,cost-effectiveness,and environmental friendliness.After briefly comparing the advantages and disadvantages of biomass binders and synthetic binders,this paper summarizes the preparation methods of biomass binders.According to its main role in lithium-sulfur batteries,biomass binders are divided into three categories including positive electrode structure stable type,restriction polysulfide dissolution and shuttle type,and conductive type.The application of biomass binders is mainly reviewed,and the challenges currently facing in application are discussed.Finally,the application and development trend of biomass-based binders in lithium-sulfur batteries is prospected as well.
