面向5G通信的圆极化基片集成波导研究
Research on circularly polarized SIW for 5G communication
摘要
Abstract
Circularly polarized antenna refers to an antenna whose projection of the end track of the radiated electric field vec-tor on the plane perpendicular to the propagation direction is a circle,and is widely used in radar,positioning and wireless commu-nication systems and so on in various frequency bands.In this research,a periodical slotted substrate integrated waveguide(SIW)is designed based on 5.8GHz band of 5G communication.Firstly,according to the cutoff frequency calculation method of the di-electric waveguide and the mapping relationship between rectangular waveguide and SIW structure,the cross-section size of the proposed SIW is determined theoretically to ensure that the structure can enjoy a good transmission property in 5.8GHz band.Then the transverse periodical slots are designed on the upper surface of the SIW to disturb the structure,producing leaky wave only from fundamental mode,with the harmonics suppressed.By optimizing the position and the size of the slot,the antenna can generate two orthogonal E-field components with 90°phase difference on the aperture,thus achieving circularly polarized radi-ation.The simulation result shows that the antenna has an impedance bandwidth with S11<=-10dB from 5.6GHz to 7GHz,with good transmission property.In 5.8GHz frequency band,the periodically slotted antenna has good circular polarization characteris-tics,with gain 7.3dBi,efficiency 89.5%and axial ratio below to 0.21dB.This antenna has a simple design and a low profile,and is easy to be fed and integrated,which shows good research value and application prospect.simple design and a low profile,and is easy to be fed and integrated,which shows good research value and application prospect.关键词
