摘要

Abstract

In response to the water shortage issues faced by"rice planting in alkali soils"in the Ningxia Plain,an experiment was conducted on water-saving,salt-tolerant and high-yielding rice varieties in the moderate saline-alkali soils of Zhoucheng Village,Pingluo County.In 2023,the study was conducted on five salt-tolerant rice varieties(lines)selected from a previous study on the vertical migration of soil salinity,using a one-factor random block design in the moderate saline-alkali soils of Zhoucheng Village,Pingluo,Ningxia.The results show that:① During the entire rice growing season,the trend of soil moisture in different layers showed three upward moments followed by downturns,while the soil conductivity generally exhibited a pattern of three successive drops then rises before a gradual fall.② The root length,root surface area,root volume,and root vitality of each tested rice variety showed the most significant changes from the seedling to tillering stage,with the average increases of 2 626.46 mm,9 840.79 mm²,10 750.9 mm³,and 4.87 μg/(g·h),respectively.③ Correlation analysis shows that soil conductivity significantly negatively correlated with total root length,total surface area,and root absorption area.Among the five tested rice varieties,21HJW14,Ningjing48,and SD-22 exhibited better performance on saline-alkali land in the Yinbei District,Ningxia.
