Abstract

To further study the problem of spontaneous combustion in coal gangue mountains,a multi-field coupled simulation model is established based on mathematical models of temperature field,gas concentration field,and seepage velocity field.Taking the coal gangue mountain in Daheng Coal Industry as an example,the dynamic development laws of these three physical fields during the spontaneous combustion process are numerically simulated,and the relationship between gas concentration and temperature is studied.The results indicate that in the initial stage of the thermal storage and heating process in the coal gangue mountain,the overall heating rate is relatively low;As time goes by,a high-temperature area will gradually form inside the gangue mountain,which is first concentrated near the windward side and then spreads to the leeward side;The oxygen concentration on the windward side remains relatively high,gradually decreasing after entering the interior,and the overall concentration decreases with the extension of accumulation time;The distribution law of carbon monoxide concentration is opposite to that of oxygen concentration;The variation law of CO2 concentration is the same as that of temperature,with the highest concentration near the windward side,followed by a distribution trend of first concentration and then divergence.
