Abstract

The aim of this experiment was to study the effect of adding different proportions of whole-plant corn on the quality of mixed micro-silage of fodder mulberry and GuiYan1 hybrid wolfsbane grass.The experiment was set up one control group and three treatment groups,the whole-plant corn,fodder mulberry,and GuiYan1 hybrid wolfsbane mixed ratio of 5∶2.5∶2.5(Group Ⅰ),6∶2∶2(Group Ⅱ),7∶1.5∶1.5(Group Ⅲ).The control group(CK group)was a mixture of fodder mulberry and GuiYan1 hybrid wolfsbane grass in a 5∶5 proportions,which was micro-silage with the moisture content controlled at 50%for 30 days.The results showed that the sensory indexes of Groups Ⅰ and Ⅱ were better than those of group CK,with Group Ⅰ being the best.The dry matter content of Groups Ⅱ and Ⅲ was significantly lower than that of the CK group and Group Ⅰ(P<0.05).There were significant differences in water-soluble carbohydrates among all groups(P<0.05),with Group Ⅰ being significantly higher than the other groups(P<0.05).The crude protein content of Group Ⅲ was significantly lower than that of the other groups(P<0.05),and the acid detergent fiber was significantly higher than that of the CK group and Group Ⅰ(P<0.05).The pH value of Group Ⅱ was significantly higher than that of the other groups(P>0.05),and the lactic acid content of Group Ⅲ was significantly higher than that of the CK group(P<0.05).The relative feeding value of Group Ⅰ was significantly higher than that of Groups Ⅱ and Ⅲ(P<0.05),with Group Ⅲ was the lowest.The 30-hour neutral detergent fiber digestibility of Group Ⅲ was significantly lower than that of the CK group and Group Ⅰ(P<0.05).The 30-hour dry matter digestibility of Group Ⅲ was significantly lower than that of the CK group,Group Ⅰ,and Group Ⅱ(P<0.05).The chloride content of Group Ⅲ was significantly lower than that of Group Ⅰ(P<0.05).The magnesium content of Group Ⅰ was significantly higher than that of Group Ⅱ(P<0.05).The study indicates that the addition of different proportions of whole corn could improve the quality of mixed micro-silage of fodder mulberry and GuiYan1 hybrid wolfsbane grass,with the proportions of 5∶2.5∶2.5 being the most effective.
