摘要

Abstract

This experiment was conducted to study the effects of dietary metabolic energy and crude protein levels on the laying performance of Ba-shang long-tailed chickens.A 3×3 two factorial design was employed,with protein levels of 15.5%,16.0%,and 16.5%and energy levels of 11.87,11.47,and 11.07 MJ/kg respectively.A total of 216 Ba-shang long-tailed chickens at the age of 40 weeks were randomly allocated into nine treatments,with four replicates per treatment and six chickens per replicate.The pre-test period was one week and formal test period was 23 weeks.The results showed that dietary crude protein level had no significant impact on production performance(P>0.05).A metabolizable energy of 11.07 MJ/kg significantly increased the laying rate,average daily egg production,and average daily feed intake(P<0.05),while reducing the feed-to-egg ratio(P<0.05).A protein level of 15.5%significantly improved the apparent digestibility of energy(P<0.05).The results show that the group of Ba-shang long-tail chickens with 11.07 MJ/kg metabolic energy and 15.5%crude protein had the best production performance and nutrient apparent metabolic rate.
