Abstract
Arabinoxylan is the main anti-nutritional factor in cereal feedstuffs,which limits the application of wheat in livestock and poultry production.Xylanase is a group of xylan hydrolases that can break down arabinoxylan into xylose or oligomeric xylose(xylooligosaccharides),including endo-and exo-β-xylanases and β-xylosidases,among others.Animals typically do not produce xylanase,and the addition of exogenous xylanase can effectively hydrolyze arabinoxylan in cereal feedstuffs,thereby neutralizing the anti-nutritional effects of arabinoxylan,improving the utilization rate of cereal feedstuffs,enhancing the intestinal health of livestock and poultry,increasing animal production performance,and contributing to the economic benefits of breeding.The article discusses the current research on xylanase,its enzymatic characteristics,and mechanisms of action,and reviews the practical application of xylanase in livestock and poultry production,providing a reference for the development of new feed additives.关键词
