摘要

Abstract

CO2 storage in saline aquifers is considered to be pathway major approach to mitigating the greenhouse effect.However,the long-term CO2 storage stability is affected by reservoir characteristics and injection parameters,and there is currently a lack of unified indicators to evaluate the long-term CO2 storage stability in saline aquifers.We propose using storage volume and conversion or storage rate as factors to determine the long-term CO2 storage stability.By considering the main controlling factors,we establish evaluation indexes of different storage modes for long-term stability of CO2 storage based on numerical simulations,nonlinear multiple regression analysis,and the coefficient of variation method.We employ an expert weighting method to determine the weights of tectonic,residual,dissolution,and mineralized sequestration,thereby creating comprehensive evaluation indexes for long-term stability of CO2 storage by considering all four storage methods,and the CO2 storage evaluation indexes are classified into three levels:stable,moderately stable and unstable,enabling assessments of CO2 storage stability under specific reservoir conditions and gas injection intensities of the mine site.Additionally,we establish a framework for long-term CO2 storage stability evaluation indexes under the influence of reservoir and injection parameters,providing valuable reference for selecting brine layers suitable for long-term stable CO2 storage.
