摘要
Abstract
Gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM)is a common pregnancy complication with an increasing global incidence.GDM increases the risk of adverse perinatal outcomes and severely affects the health of mothers and their offspring.The offspring of mothers with GDM will have an elevated risk of type 2 diabetes and metabolic syndrome later in life,and may encounter issues such as obesity,metabolic diseases,cardiovascular system developmental abnormalities,and impaired cognitive function.This article reviews the relevant characteristics and impacts of GDM,discusses potential mechanisms including epigenetics,and aims to provide reference and assistance for effective control and management of GDM.关键词
