Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of acupuncture combined with finger acupoint in the treatment of children with autism.Methods A total of 85 children with autism admitted to Department of Children's Rehabilitation,Zibo Maternal and Child Health Hospital from July 2021 to July 2023 were selected and divided into control group(43 cases,acupuncture therapy)and observation group(42 cases,acupuncture combined with finger acupuncture therapy).The behavioral symptoms,language function and intellectual development of the two groups were compared.Results Before treatment,there were no significant differences in the scores of childhood autism rating scale(CARS)and autism behavior checklist(ABC)between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment,the scores of CARS and ABC in both groups were decreased,and compared with the control group,the scores of CARS and ABC in the observation group were lower(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in language retardation rate between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment,the language retardation rate of both groups was decreased,and the language retardation rate of observation group was lower than that of control group(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in Chinese-Wechsler intelligence scale of children(C-WISC)scores between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment,the scores of C-WISC of both groups were increased,and compared with the control group,the scores of C-WISC of observation group were higher(P<0.05).Conclusion Acupuncture combined with finger acupoint therapy can improve the behavioral symptoms of children with autism,promote the development of language function and intelligence level.关键词
