Abstract
Objective To analyze the effect of neuromuscular electrical stimulation combined with manual massage treating early postpartum perineal scar pain. Methods A total of 76 patients with early postpartum perineal scar pain admitted to Pizhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2021 to December 2023 were selected as the study objects and were divided into two groups by the random number table method. The control group(38 cases)was treated with manual massage, and the observation group(38 cases)was treated with neuromuscular electrical stimulation combined with manual massage. The pain levels(visual analogue scale[VAS]score),sleep quality(Pittsburgh sleep quality index[PSQI]score),vaginal contractility, and scar degree(Vancouver scar scale[VSS]score)of the two groups were compared. Results Forty-two days after delivery, there were no statistically significant differences in the VAS score,PSQI score, vaginal contractility, and VSS score between the two groups(P>0.05).Three months postpartum, the VAS,PSQI,and VSS scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the vaginal contractility in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Neuromuscular electrical stimulation combined with manual massage can reduce early postpartum perineal scar pain and scar degree, and improve vaginal contractility and the sleep quality of patients.关键词
