Abstract
Objective To investigate the predictive value of heparin binding protein(HBP),interleukin-6(IL-6)combined with C-reactive protein(CRP)in children with severe pneumonia. Methods A total of 100 children with pneumonia admitted to the Department of Critical Care Medicine,Changzhou Children's Hospital Affiliated to Nantong University from March 2020 to December 2023 were selected.According to the results of simplified pediatric critical illness score, they were divided into common pneumonia group(50 cases)and severe pneumonia group(50 cases),and 50 healthy children without pneumonia infection during the same period were selected as control group. The levels of HBP,IL-6 and CRP in the three groups were compared, and the predictive value of the above indicators for severe pneumonia was analyzed. Results Serum levels of HBP,IL-6 and CRP in severe pneumonia group and common pneumonia group were higher than those in control group(P<0.05),the serum levels of HBP,IL-6 and CRP in severe pneumonia group were higher than those in common pneumonia group(P<0.05).Receiver operating characteristic curve analysis showed that the area under the curve of serum HBP,IL-6 and CRP alone and combined detection of severe pneumonia was higher(P<0.05),and the area under the curve of the combined detection was higher than that of serum HBP,IL-6 and CRP alone detection(P<0.05).Conclusion The levels of serum HBP,IL-6 and CRP in children with severe pneumonia are highly expressed, and the combined detection of serum HBP,IL-6 and CRP has a high predictive value for severe pneumonia.关键词
