Abstract
Objective To explore the application effect of PDCA cycle in nursing quality management of neonatology ward.Methods A total of 60 children admitted to the neonatology ward of Beijing Chaoyang District Maternal and Child Health Care Hospital from December 2022 to December 2023 and 20 nurses were selected as the research objects and were divided into the control group and the experimental group by the random number table method,with 30 children and 10 nurses in each group.The control group received conventional nursing management,and the experimental group received the PDCA cycle nursing quality management on the basis of the control group.The implementation rate of nursing management measures,the qualification rate of nursing document writing,the score of nursing technique operation and three basic exams,the nursing error rate,the satisfaction rate of family members,and the popularization rate of health education were compared between the two groups.Results The implementation rate of nursing management measures,the score of nursing document writing,the qualification rate of nursing technique operation and the three basic examinations in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The nursing error rate in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The satisfaction rate of family members and the popularization rate of health education in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion PDCA cycle can effectively improve the level of nursing quality management in neonatology ward,and is an effective method suitable for application in neonatology ward.关键词
