Impact of high-standard farmland on cultivated land use system resilience:Empirical analysis based on the micro survey data of farmers

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence mechanism of high-standard farmland construction(HFC)on cultivated land use system resilience(CLUSR).The difference-in-difference model was adopted to reveal the influence of HFC on CLUSR based on the micro survey data of farmers in some counties and cities in Hubei Province.The results showed that:1)The baseline regression results discovered that HFC significantly reduced the cultivated land use system vulnerability by 1.3%,and improved the adaptability and resilience of the cultivated land use system by 10.2%and 11.5%.After a series of robustness tests,the regression results were still valid.2)The impact of HFC on CLUSR varied among different types of farmers and landforms,the moderate-scale farmers outperformed the small-scale farmers significantly,and the plain areas outperformed hilly areas significantly.Based on this,HFC should take improving CLUSR as the core concept,break the constraints of multiple risks on agricultural production and promote the large-scale,industrialized and green development of agriculture.HFC should be based on the basic national conditions of"small-scale peasant economy of the large country",give full play to the leading role of moderately large-scale farmers in small-scale farmers and promote the organic connection between small-scale farmers and the development of modern agriculture.In addition,HFC should combine the differences in resource endowments of landform types,expand the multiple functions of cultivated land,and comprehensively build a solid"cultivated land"foundation for rural revitalization.关键词
