西门塔尔牛与荷斯坦牛产后血液离子和相关血气指标的比较分析
Comparative Analysis of Blood Ions and Related Blood Gas Parameters in Postpartum Simmental and Holstein Cows

Abstract
This study aimed to analyze the variations in blood ions and related blood gas parameters in postpartum Simmental cows.The Experimental group included 40 first-parity and 60 multiparous Simmental cows,while the Control group consisted of 40 first-parity and 60 multiparous Holstein cows.Blood ion levels and blood gas parameters were compared between the two groups.The results showed that the incidences of subclinical hypocalcemia at 0 hour postpartum in first-parity and multiparous Simmental cows were 7.5%and 53.3%,respectively,with a total incidence of 35.0%.The average blood pH at 0 hour postpartum in Simmental cows was 7.42±0.01,and the average blood glucose concentration was(6.91±0.16)mmol/L.The colostrum yields in first-parity and multiparous Simmental cows were(2.30±0.28)L and(5.14±0.36)L,respectively,with an average yield of(4.01±0.28)L.In Holstein cows,the incidences of subclinical hypocalcemia at 0 hour postpartum in first-parity and multiparous cows were 5.0%and 61.7%,respectively,with a total incidence of 39.0%.The average blood pH at 0 hour postpartum was 7.39±0.01,and the average blood glucose concentration was(5.76±0.15)mmol/L.Colostrum yields in first-parity and multiparous Holstein cows were(3.68±0.36)L and(5.96±0.33)L,respectively,with an average yield of(5.05±0.25)L.No significant differences(P>0.05)in blood sodium,potassium,hematocrit,or hemoglobin levels were observed between or within groups by parity.The findings suggest that the incidence of subclinical hypocalcemia in first-parity Simmental cows is higher than in Holstein cows,likely due to breed differences or dietary factors.However,multiparous Simmental cows exhibited higher blood ionized calcium levels and lower postpartum hypocalcemia risk than Holstein cows.Simmental cows demonstrated a stronger ability to maintain postpartum blood pH and ionic balance,indicating better resilience to parturition stress compared to Holstein cows.This study provides a reference for developing perinatal feeding management and postpartum calcium supplementation strategies for Simmental cows.关键词
