Abstract
Objective:To explore the effect of tripterygium wilfordii polyglycosides combined with prednisone and cyclophosphamide in the treatment of patients with hyperthyroidism exophthalmos.Method:93 patients with hyperthyroidism exophthalmos treated in Jingmen Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2022 to June 2023 were selected as the study objects,and were divided into control group(receiving prednisone+cyclophosphamide treatment,n=46)and observation group(receiving prednisone+cyclophosphamide+tripterygium polyside treatment,n=47)according to random number table method.The clinical activity score(CAS)was used to evaluate the activity of hyperthyroidism exophthalmia and the levels of exophthalmia and thyroid hormone-related indicators between the two groups before and after treatment,and the clinical effects of the two groups were evaluated.Result:Compared with the control group,the total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,CAS score and exophthalmos of observation group were significantly lower than control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared with the control group,the levels of thyroid stimulating hormone(TSH)in the observation group were increased,while the levels of triiodothyronine(FT3)and free thyroxine(FT4)were decreased,with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion:In the treatment of patients with hyperthyroid exophthalmos,the combination of tripterygium wilfordii polyglycoside,prednisone and cyclophosphamide can significantly improve the clinical symptoms and thyroid function of patients,stabilize the condition,and promote the reduction of exophthalmos and the improvement of clinical treatment effect.关键词
