Effect of Tranexamic Acid on Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effect of tranexamic acid(TXA)on anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction(ACLR).Method:A total of 60 patients receiving ACLR in Sichuan Science City Hospital from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the study objects and randomly divided into observation group and control group,with 30 patients in each group.The observation group was intravenously dripped with TXA during and after operation,and the control group was intravenously dripped with normal saline during and after operation.The patients were followed up for 1 month.The perioperative blood loss,postoperative drainage volume,ambulation time,hospitalization time,visual analogue scale(VAS),Lysholm score and postoperative complications were compared between the two groups.Result:The hospitalization time,perioperative blood loss,ambulation time and postoperative drainage volume of the observation group were less,and the incidence of postoperative complications was lower comparing with the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3 days and 1 month after operation,the VAS score of observation group was lower,and the Lysholm score 1 month after operation was higher,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of TXA in ACLR can significantly reduce the perioperative blood loss,reduce the incidence of postoperative complications,and accelerate the postoperative rehabilitation process.关键词
