Abstract
Diabetic retinopathy(DR)is a complication with high incidence rate in diabetes patients,and it is the main cause of blindness in diabetes patients.Due to the progressive degeneration of whole body organ function of elderly population,they are the main group of diabetes.The reports of clinical diabetes related complications mostly focus on cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases,leading to the lack of awareness of DR in diabetes patients.With the increasing number of DR patients,clinical attention is increasingly focused on DR,early detection,early diagnosis.And early treatment are the main ways to prevent blindness in DR patients.Due to the use of western medicine in DR patients,adverse reactions and drug resistance are prone to occur,leading to limited clinical application.With the development of traditional Chinese medicine,clinical attention is increasingly focused on the treatment of DR with traditional Chinese medicine.This article reviewed the understanding of DR in traditional Chinese medicine,the traditional Chinese medicine treatment of DR,and the pharmacological mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine extracts in treating DR,aiming to provide reference for clinical treatment of DR.关键词
