The First Battle to Break the Impasse:Building a Modern Vocational Education System with Chinese Characteristics

Abstract
The 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China made comprehensive arrangements for"running education to the satisfaction of the people"in the new era,proposing to accelerate the development of modern vocational education.Establishing a modern vocational education system is an institutional arrangement closely related to national economy and people's livelihood,the first critical step in vocational education's role in building a powerful education country,an important strategy of the Chinese Communist Party in governing the country,and plays a pivotal role in accelerating the development of modern vocational education.Accelerating the development of modern vocational education is an integral part of the great practice of advancing China's modernization in the new era.The construction of modern vocational education system holds a prominent strategic position in the overall logic of building a powerful education country,and special emphasis should be placed on clarifying and implementing the"four beams and eight pillars"during the advancement process.关键词
