非遗传因素对山东地区小尾寒羊早期生长性状的影响
Effects of Non-genetic Factors on the Early Growth Traits of Small-tailed Han Sheep in Shandong
摘要
Abstract
[Objective]In order to explore the effects of non-genetic factors on the early growth traits of small-tailed Han Sheep in Shandong Province,and further understand their growth performance,so as to provide the theoretical basis for improving the growth rate and genetic pro-gress of Small-tailed Han Sheep in Shandong Province.[Method]Taking Small-tail Han Sheep from A and B farms in Jiaxiang County,Shan-dong Province as the research objects,early growth traits(birth weight,weaning weight,body length,body height,chest girth,chest width,chest depth,and shank circumference in two growth stages)were collected from 2015 to 2023 in Jiaxiang County,Shandong Province,the non-genetic factors affecting the early growth traits of Small-tailed Han Sheep were analyzed by using the GLM program of SAS 9.2 software.[Result]The year of birth had a significant effect on the body length at the birth stage(P＜0.05),and had an extremely significant effect on the birth weight and other body size traits(P＜0.01).It had a significant effect on body height at the weaning stage(P＜0.05),and had an extremely significant effect on weaning weight and shank circumference(P＜0.01),but it had no significant effect on the body length,chest girth,chest width and chest depth(P＞0.05).Birth type had an extremely significant effect on body size traits and body weight in the early growth stage of Small-tailed Han Sheep(P＜0.01).Ewe age had an extremely significant effect on the birth weight and weaning weight of Small-tailed Han Sheep(P＜0.01),and it had an extremely significant effect on the body size traits at the birth stage except for body length(P＜0.01),but it had no signifi-cant effect on the body size traits except for chest depth at the weaning stage(P＞0.05).Sex had no significant effect on chest width at the birth stage(P＞0.05),it had a significant effect on shank circumference at the weaning stage(P＜0.05),and had an extremely significant effect on other body size traits and body weight at early growth stages(P＜0.01).Farm had an extremely significant effect on the body size traits and body weight of Small-tailed Han Sheep in the early growth stage(P＜0.01).[Conclusion]The non-genetic factors affecting the early growth traits of Small-tailed Han Sheep in Shandong Province were tested and the significant fixed effects were determined,which provided references for the selection and breeding of Small-tailed Han Sheep in Shandong Province.关键词
