Analysis on the Spatial Characteristics and Protection of Streets and Alleys in Traditional Villages:A Case of Mabao Village in Jiexiu City

Abstract
The traditional villages are historical witnesses of the Chinese nation.As an important public space and main transportation framework in traditional villages,street and alley spaces carry various public activities of the villagers.They connect various places in the village and are an important supporting structure for the entire village space.The paper takes Mabao village in Mianshan town,Jiexiu city,Jinzhong city,Shanxi Province as the research object.Through field investigation and interface quantitative analysis,the spatial form of its streets and alleys is analyzed,the street and alley space created by Mabao village is summarized,and the corresponding protection strategies are discussed.It has certain reference significance for the research and protection of the spatial form of streets and alleys in other traditional villages.关键词
