药线点灸联合中药治疗白癜风的疗效观察及对皮损面积和生活质量的影响
Therapeutic observation of medicinal thread moxibustion plus Chinese medication for vitiligo and the effects on skin lesion area and quality of life

Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of medicinal thread moxibustion plus San Han Huo Xue Qu Bai formula in treating vitiligo and the effects on the patient's skin lesion area and quality of life.Method One hundred vitiligo patients were divided into an observation group and a control group using the random number table method,each group consisting of 50 cases.Both groups applied San Han Huo Xue Qu Bai tincture to the affected areas.In addition,the control group orally took San Han Huo Xue Qu Bai formula,based on which the observation group received medicinal thread moxibustion at the affected regions.The clinical efficacy and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.The vitiligo area scoring index(VASI),dermatology life quality index(DLQI),and symptom and sign score of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)were observed before and after the treatment.Result After the treatment,the VASI,DLQI,and TCM symptom and sign score dropped in both groups(P＜0.05)and were lower in the observation group than in the control group(P＜0.05).The total effective rate was significantly higher in the observation group than in the control group(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in comparing the adverse reaction rate between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion Compared to the sole use of San Han Huo Xue Qu Bai formula,it can produce better clinical efficacy when used together with medicinal thread moxibustion in treating vitiligo,as this combined method can more significantly reduce skin lesion area and enhance the patient's quality of life.关键词
