R&D Intensity Targets,Digital Economy Development and Industrial Chain Modernization
摘要
Abstract
Based on the panel data of 30 provinces in China from 2007 to 2022,this paper uses R&D intensity target setting as a quasi-natural experiment and employs a DID model and mediating effect model to empirically test the impact of R&D intensi-ty target on industrial chain modernization and its mechanism.The research finds that R&D intensity targets can significantly pro-mote the modernization of industrial chain.Further analysis reveals that the promotion effect of R&D intensity targets exhibits het-erogeneity,manifested as significant in coastal areas and low technological level regions,while not significant in inland areas and high technological level regions.The mediating mechanism test results show that R&D intensity target will enhance the moderniza-tion level of industrial chain by promoting the development of digital economy,including promoting the development of the digital industry,improving the digital economic environment,and optimizing digital infrastructure.关键词
