Abstract
Objective To supervise and manage medical institutions in Shanghai that have completed the registration for extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) restricted technology. Methods In accordance with the national "Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) Technology Clinical Application Management Specifications (2022 edition)," the "Shanghai Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) Technology Quality Control Assessment Form" (2023 edition) was completed. Based on preliminary research results,a multidisciplinary team of inspection experts group was formed to conduct on-site supervision of ECMO clinical implementation in 15 hospitals across Shanghai,and a supervision work report was formed. Results With collaborative efforts from the ECMO multidisciplinary expert team,a set of inspection standards was established and used to oversee restricted ECMO technology. Eight hospitals performed excellently,meeting all required indicators. Another seven hospitals were found to have varying degrees of problems that require continuous rectification. Conclusion Standardization of ECMO clinical management and training has garnered significant national attention,and the implementation of restricted technology oversight has significantly advanced the standardized application and educational development of ECMO technology across Shanghai hospitals.关键词
