Abstract
Objective To analyze the state of binocular balance in myopic adolescents with corrected visual acuity of 1.0 under different viewing distances.Methods Thirty myopic adolescents aged 6 to 18 were selected for routine ophthal-mological examination from September to December 2023.Their binocular balance was assessed through the degree of inter-ocular suppression under three distances(0.8m,3m,and 5m)using static visual markers.The differences in inter-ocular suppression across these distances were analyzed using the Friedman test,and post-hoc pairwise comparisons were conducted with Bonferroni correction for significance levels.Results There was a statistically significant difference in the state of binocular balance among the different distance conditions(x2=9.652,P=0.008).The level of binocular balance was significantly lower at 5m compared to 0.8m,with a statistically significant difference(adjusted P=0.0158).Conclusion There is variability in the binocular balance states of myopic adolescents with corrected visual acuity of 1.0 at different distances.关键词
