62例先天性白内障病例特征分析
Analysis of Case Characteristics in 62 Congenital Cataract Patients

Abstract
Objective To analyze the incidence characteristics,surgical timing,surgical methods,and postoperative complications of congenital cataracts with the aim of providing optimal treatment reference strategies.Methods We retrospec-tively reviewed children aged 0 to 12 years who were diagnosed and underwent congenital cataract extraction surgery at our hospital between January 2016 and December 2023.We recorded their slit-lamp examination results,eye position,ocular motility,anterior segment,fundus,and visual acuity.For those unable to cooperate with vision testing,cerebral visual im-pairment(CVI)assessments were performed to evaluate visual function.Children under two years old underwent posterior approach cataract excision+anterior vitrectomy;timely refractive correction was provided after surgery,followed by secondary intraocular lens implantation at age two.Those over two years old received anterior approach phacoemulsification+intraocular lens implantation+anterior vitreous cutting.All patients began CVI training,brain vision training,and traditional amblyopia therapy immediately after surgery to improve visual function.Results A total of 62 cases(102 eyes)were included in this analysis,comprising 40 bilateral and 22 unilateral cases.The average age at first cataract surgery was(41.21±40.10)months;for bilateral cataracts,the second eye's average operative age was(35.52±36.80)months.Postoperative complica-tions occurred in 29.03％of cases,including secondary glaucoma in 2 cases(3.23％),postoperative iris posterior synechia and pupil deformation in 2 cases(3.23％),and strabismus development in 12 cases.Conclusion Congenital cataract surgeries have a high complication rate,necessitating careful selection of surgical timing.Prompt refractive correction and visual function training postoperatively can effectively reduce blindness and low vision caused by deprivation amblyopia.关键词
