Study on the Prescription Regularity of LI Zhong-yu,a Famous TCM Doctor,in the Treatment of Granulomatous Mastitis Based on Data Mining

Abstract
Objective:To analyze the traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)prescription regularity of LI Zhong-yu,a famous TCM doctor,in the treatment of granulomatous mastitis(GM)based on real-world clinical studies,providing a practical and effective scheme for the treatment of GM with TCM.Methods:The TCM prescriptions of LI Zhong-yu in the treatment of GM from January 1,2021 to December 31,2022 were collected.The medication frequency,property and flavor,and meridian tropism of the TCMs were statistically analyzed using Excel.The core TCMs for treating GM were screened by Cytoscape3.7.2 software.The association rule analysis and hierarchical clustering analysis were performed for the core TCMs by IBM SPSS Modeler 18.0 software and IBM SPSS Statistics 23.0 software,respectively.Results:A total of 565 prescriptions were collected and sorted out,involving 55 different TCMs,with a total of 5318 times of use.Most of them were used for tonifying deficiency,clearing heat,relieving exterior symptoms,and activating blood circulation and removing blood stasis,etc.These TCMs were characterized by cold,warm or neutral properties,with sweet,bitter or pungent tastes,primarily targeting the liver and stomach meridians.Through topological analysis,14 core TCMs were screened and identified,such as Angelicae sinensis radix,Astragali radix,Taraxaci herba,Lonicerae japonicae flos,and Angelicae dahuricae radix.The association rule analysis showed that combinations of Astragali radix-Angelicae sinensis radix,Taraxaci herba-Angelicae sinensis radix,Taraxaci herba-Astragali radix-Angelicae sinensis radix,Lonicerae japonicae flos-Astragali radix-Angelicae sinensis radix had higher frequencies and support levels.The hierarchical clustering analysis identified three potential combinatory relationships.Conclusion:LI Zhong-yu,a famous TCM doctor,primarily prescribed TCMs of tonifying deficiency,clearing heat,relieving exterior symptoms,and activating blood circulation and removing blood stasis,etc.,in the treatment of GM.In clinical practice,classic prescriptions composed of core TCMs such as Angelicae sinensis radix,Astragali radix,Taraxaci herba,Lonicerae japonicae flos,and Angelicae dahuricae radix are mostly applied.关键词
